The Community Health Research Program (CHRP) at the Hood Center for Children and Families focuses on the prevention of adverse adolescent health behaviors, including tobacco use. Our studies examine adolescent health behavior in the context of broader environments in order to gain a better understanding of how families, schools and communities might work together to improve child health.

Our research studies are funded by the National Cancer Institute, the National Institute of Drug Abuse, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
